I'll be the millionth person to say...YAY FOR SNOW DAYS!!!! We have 3 1/2 inches of snow on our back patio right now. It snowed here all night. When P woke up around 3:45, it was still snowing. When we went back upstairs to go back to bed at 5, it was STILL snowing! I can hear kids outside playing in the snow. Roof is completely confused at all the white stuff on the ground outside his window. Once I figure out where my camera cord is, I'll post some pics on here.
I know, as a teacher, this day just means one more day with the kids later on. Last year, we had 5 snow days during the 3rd nine weeks! And thanks to Jackson and their infinite wisdom, we had to make up all 5 of them. But, there's something magical about a snow day. There's something intrinsically unique about seeing everything blanketed with snow and hearing your footsteps as they crunch through the snow. I've never met anyone who could not smile as they threw a snowball at someone. Seeing all of my friends post pictures of them and their kids playing in the snow makes an added day later on all worth it.
