I want to make this today!! Maybe when this game is over, I'll head to a thrift store and get my craft on.

I made a dress last night. My mom helped immensely! If it hadn't been for her, I would have quit. The pattern said it was a one-hour dress. It took us about 3 1/2 hours. It's cute, but could be better. Now that I know what I'm doing and have adjusted the pattern to actually work, It could possibly be a one-hour dress.

I'm not ready for spring break to be over yet. I'm quite adjusted to being home or at least not having to work. It's been nice to stay in bed until P has to get up instead of getting up at the crack of dawn. Alas, all great things must come to an end. Thank goodness we still have the weekend.

So, NOLA...yes! So much fun! I'm glad we weren't down there for Mardi Gras the weekend before. It was nice to park the truck when we got there and not have to drive for 4 days. We were walking distance from Canal, Bourbon, and the River Walk. We did a lot of touristy things. I drank at least one Hurricane every day. Most days I had way more than one. We decided that New Orleans smells like the fair. Not necessarily a bad thing. I just wouldn't want to smell that every day of my life.
