We survived our first married Christmas!! Actually, this was our first Christmas together. Despite all the normal stresses of trying to evenly divide the time between our families, I'd say this was a wonderful Christmas. I got so many wonderful gifts and, hopefully, everyone was pleased with what I gave them. More than that, though, was the time we got to spend with family. I love Patrick's family and the fact that they have welcomed me into their family so well. I have heard horror stories about people's in-laws, but I really did get lucky. I have the absolute best parents I could ever ask for. And now I have the greatest MIL and FIL I could have asked for.
I really don't want to take our tree down. Yes, we will gain more room in our living/dining room. But seeing the lights and ornaments has a magical feel to it. Maybe I'm just being sentimental because this was our first tree. I finished our stockings, and while they are cute (if I do say so myself) they are too small to put some stuff in! I'll have to modify the pattern so they are bigger. My friend, Erin, suggested I make some to sell. That could be fun! I need to get on finding out what I'd have to do to make that dream a reality.
No changes in Lumpy which is a good thing. I go back to the doctor in a few weeks. I'm continuing my prayer/positive thinking/trying to will it away approach. It's a lot better than the stress/cry/freak out approach!
I love you Victoria.....:) that's all I have to say. Just wanted you to know that!!! Well...plus I'm super stoked there's another blogger in the family!!! You (and my new iPad) are really inspiring me to find/take the time to start publishing again.
