My goodness it's been a while since I've been on here! In my last post, I was bitching about having my tonsils taken out and being in pain. I'm a crybaby. There, I admitted it...again.
We now live in Mississippi. I'm in my 7th year of teaching. I love my job more this year than I ever have before. I am more tired both physically and emotionally than I think I've been since college. I will be an aunt in about 7 months and am making myself not buy stuff for the little thing yet. I can't promise I won't start shopping soon, though.
I am desperately needing to find/make the time to sew again. I'm either at school or volleyball practice or volleyball games or in meetings or cleaning the house or taking care of the cats and dog or laundry or passed out on the couch or in bed. I have an entire bedroom dedicated to letting me sew, but I haven't even had the time to get it set up. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a few minutes this weekend between CY fest and wedding parties and bonfires and family reunions to do something, anything, in that room. Maybe I'll be able to finish a project I started when we were still in our apartment!
Speaking of abodes, I wish everyone I know could come see our cute house! We have 3 acres and the most perfect house ever. It's only 3 bedrooms, so I have already told P that we can only have one baby or we'll be out of room. And I don't ever want to move out of this house! If I ever figure out how to, I'll post pics on this thing of our house. My first sewing project will be making new curtains. Again, with the lack of spare time...
